3 Custom Team-Building Initiatives We Love at United EVENTures 1024 614 admin

When planning unforgettable corporate events with our hotel partners, we’ve seen first-hand how the right team-building activities can make all the difference.

At United EVENTures, we specialize in creating customized experiences that bring teams closer together and make the most of a hotel’s unique features.

Whether harnessing a location’s natural beauty for outdoor adventures, tapping into a hotel’s culinary excellence, or giving back to the community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, our tailored team-building packages are designed to engage, inspire, and leave a lasting impact.

Will Leggett shares three popular initiatives that have consistently wowed our clients and their teams.

Check them out below.

Custom Team- Building Activities for Hotels

Will shares some of United EVENTures’ customized team-building packages that have been fun and well-received.

1. Geo Trekking Adventure

“One of the activities we offer is what we call geo trekking,” says Will. This activity is perfect for hotels located in regions with extensive outdoor space, like Vermont or Maine.

In this fun outdoor activity, small groups will explore an area searching for pre-programmed checkpoints with a handheld GPS unit.

Once teams arrive at a checkpoint, they will face a challenge or trivia questions to solve.

Questions can include general knowledge trivia, puzzles, and riddles or can be customized to company-specific questions to personalize your experience further and reinforce meeting objectives.

This event is designed so teams will have to maximize their efficiency and collaboration in order to find as many checkpoints as possible within the allotted time. Only groups with the best strategy and teamwork will be lucky to locate them all!

Geo Trekking allows participants to step outside their comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and develop new friendships.

Will says, “This event not only promotes teamwork but also makes great use of the property’s natural resources.”

2. Pop-Up Food Trucks

For hotels with a strong culinary program, Will suggests a creative twist on cooking competitions.

“We do everything from what we call our pop-up food trucks,” he explains. Teams create food truck facades and prepare dishes representing different countries, maximizing the hotel’s food and beverage department.

Teams will first need to determine a cuisine, truck name, logo and specialty menu item before building and decorating a food truck window facade from which they will serve their delicious creations.

Using only the materials and ingredients provided, teams will test their creativity to see who can impress the judges best. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit all food trucks and taste each others dishes.

“It’s a win-win on all fronts,” Will notes. This engaging event allows participants to work together while enjoying the hotel’s culinary offerings.

3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

CSR activities have become increasingly popular, with companies eager to give back to the community.

Will shares, “We put together beehives to donate to local beekeepers, build bikes for kids with pediatric cancer, or even assemble wheelchairs for hospitals.” These activities not only provide a sense of fulfillment but also strengthen team bonds through meaningful work.

Standing out means offering more than just a venue—it means providing experiences that resonate with your client’s needs and values. Customizable team-building packages are a powerful tool for achieving this, helping you transform your hotel into a sought-after destination for corporate events.

As you plan your next corporate event, consider how United EVENTures can elevate the experience. Together, we can create something truly special that not only meets your clients’ needs but exceeds their expectations.
